Jennifer Walker, RN, MSN, ANP-BC

Jennifer Walker earned her Master’s degree in nursing at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She is a clinical instructor at the University of North Carolina School of Nursing, and has been an adult nurse practitioner at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for 11 years. She works in the Department of Cardiology and Electrophysiology and manages patients with atrial fibrillation, pacemakers, defibrillators, complex arrhythmias, and cardiac diseases. Part of her time is dedicated to research; she is part of several ongoing studies at UNC focusing on atrial fibrillation. Current projects focus on improving quality of life for patients with AFib through virtual education, and optimizing Afib management through specialty AFib clinics and community education. Jennifer has given presentations on Afib at several national conferences, including Heart Rhythm Society, Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association, and the American College of Cardiology.
