Paige Randall, PhD, MS, RN, CNE

Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Randall is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Randall holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY and is certified as a nurse educator (CNE). She graduated with her PhD in nursing from Duke University School of Nursing (DUSON). Her dissertation was entitled “Exploring Resilience Experiences Among Newly Graduated Nurses Transitioning to Professional Practice.” She has practiced in various clinical and didactic teaching roles at institutions in New York and North Carolina. Dr. Randall has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International, the North Carolina Nurses’ Association, and the National League for Nursing. Most recently, she participated in the National Council of State Boards of Nursing’s (NCSBN) Regulatory Scholars Program. As part of the program, Dr. Randall temporarily relocated to Chicago, IL to gain deeper insights into nursing regulation and policy while developing a project focused on supporting the nursing workforce.
