Tammy Hall is a nurse educator at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. She earned an ADN at Northwestern Louisiana State University in 1993, a BSN from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2015 and an MSN with a concentration in nursing education at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2018. She became a registered diagnostic sonographer with a concentration in OB/Gyn in 2005.
Tammy’s expertise is in obstetrics and women’s health, population health and leadership. While primarily providing support in labor and delivery, she has also worked as a maternity care coordinator in public health and as a sonographer.
Ensuring an excellent education for nursing students is her priority. Imagining and developing innovative teaching strategies and engaging students in creative learning activities is a passion for Tammy. She recently presented with a team at the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) annual conference on the development of an escape room relating to preeclampsia. She is also presenting a poster on the dual role of nurse/sonographer in the rural setting at the International Rural Nursing Conference in August of 2021.
Tammy lives in High Point with her husband, Rick, their daughter, Madison and their two dogs. They enjoy family time and being goofy.
