ANCC-accredited clinical aesthetic injectables training at Carolina Nursing

The UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing is proud to partner with LexRx, the first organization in the United States to collaborate with university schools of nursing to deliver evidence-based education in clinical aesthetic injectables. This innovative partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing nursing education through training that is academically rigorous, clinically sound, and grounded in best practices.

The School of Nursing is pleased to highlight the successful inaugural Clinical Aesthetic Injectables Training Program, held on December 10, in partnership with LexRx. The training included two didactic sessions and a required in-person, skills-based clinical training, designed to integrate evidence-based theory with supervised, hands-on learning. The program was led by Alex Acosta, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, founder of LexRx, with oversight by  Dr. Stephanie Fisher, DNP, MSN, RN, ANCC-Accredited Program Provider Director.

Building on this success, the next Clinical Aesthetic Injectables Training Program will take place on March 6, 2026, at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Nursing. Registration is now open to registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and advanced practice clinicians seeking to expand their competencies in safe, evidence-based aesthetic injection practices.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
