Beeber Named APNA Psychiatric Nurse of the Year

Linda Beeber PhD, PMHCNS-BC, FAAN, SON Professor and Associate Dean, is the recipient of the APNA Psychiatric Nurse of the Year award for her exceptional accomplishments, including pioneering interventions in individuals with maternal depression. The American Psychiatric Nurses Association praised her contributions to the field saying, “She recognized early on the significance of improving the mental health of mothers, and by providing a path that clinicians and mothers can follow, her work has led to healthier outcomes.”

The APNA Psychiatric Nurse of the Year Award recognizes an APNA member who demonstrates vision, perseverance, dedication, initiative and facilitation in the delivery of mental health services to individuals, families and their communities.
