Coombs appointed associate editor for the Oncology Nursing Forum

Assistant Professor Lorinda Coombs, PhD, CNS, FNP-BC, AOCNP, has been appointed as an associate editor for the Oncology Nursing Forum.

An official publication of the Oncology Nursing Society, the Oncology Nursing Forum strives to advance oncology nursing science and promote the application of research findings to improve patient care and policies. With the aim of achieving health equity for individuals, families, and communities affected by cancer, the journal’s mission is to share transformative research that can improve cancer care in both health systems and communities.

Dr. Coombs’ new role will contribute to this mission and support the dissemination of knowledge and best practices in oncology nursing.
