Jean Davison recognized for Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Practice by National League for Nursing

Associate Professor Jean Davison, DNP, RN, FNP-C, was unanimously selected by the National League for Nursing (NLN) Awards Committee to receive the Isabel Hampton Robb Award for Outstanding Leadership in Clinical Practice. This competitive honor is bestowed each year to a nominee who contributes to the NLN’s core values of caring, integrity, diversity and excellence. Nominated individuals must promote excellence in nursing education, contributing to a healthier local and global community.

An engaged member Carolina nursing community, Davison has certainly promoted excellence through her work with graduate students and her engagement with the community through the Mobile Health Clinic, among many other accomplishments.

Davison will be presented her award during a ceremony this September at the NLN Education Summit. The event draws nursing educators from across the country to discuss the issues affecting nursing education with the goal of sparking innovation and collaboration.

Congratulations, Dr. Davison!
