L. Beeber named to faculty of Carolina Consortium on Human Development

Fox Distinguished Professor Linda Beeber, PhD, PMHCNS-BC, FAAN, has been named to the faculty of the Carolina Consortium on Human Development (CCHD).

Entering its 30th year, the CCHD continues to involve a vibrant community of scholars who are assembled from UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Greensboro, NC State University, and Duke University and participate in training activities over the course of their involvement with the program. This could include attending the proseminar series, serving on mentoring committees with trainees, participating in training events, and joining in with other collaborative opportunities as they arise. Through these activities, the goal of the CCHD is to make connections across disciplines and institutions, between basic and applied scientists, and among differing schools of thought and methodological traditions.

As a member of the CCHD faculty, Dr. Beeber may serve as a sponsoring mentor for predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees. All faculty have the option to serve as primary or secondary mentor of CCHD predoctoral trainees; postdoctoral trainees must have at least one mentor who is at the rank of full professor (or equivalent).

Congratulations, Dr. Beeber!
