Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. JoAn Stanek has been a registered nurse for 38 years and with UNC-CH SON for 16 years. JoAn has practiced in the field of neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics and rehabilitation. For 10 years, as a nurse practitioner she worked primarily with spinal cord injured persons. Currently JoAn practices as a staff nurse in the inpatient hospice setting.
