Advancing nursing practice through accredited learning at Carolina Nursing.

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) sets national standards for Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD). As an accredited provider, UNC SON offers evidence-based, unbiased learning led by qualified nurse planners—supporting lifelong learning and better patient outcomes.
UNC SON offers joint providership to plan and deliver accredited NCPD activities.
UNC School of Nursing (as an ANCC-accredited provider) partners with another organization that is not accredited. We work together to plan and deliver the education, but UNC SON is responsible for making sure all ANCC rules are followed, contact hours are awarded, and official records are kept.
