Carolina Nursing faculty are actively engaged in developing, testing, and implementing interventions to reduce the risk of chronic disease and promote health among those living with a chronic condition.
With many of our researchers focused on cancer prevention and control, the School of Nursing is optimally located in walking distance to both UNC’s N.C. Basnight Cancer Hospital and the NIH-funded Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, providing an ideal environment for faculty research across the cancer control continuum from prevention to survivorship.
